Karen Ruth Dubbin and Reed Alexander Goodwin ended up married March 14 at the Palms Lodge & Spa in Miami Beach front. Eric Dubbin, a Universal Existence minister and an uncle of the bride, officiated.
The bride, 30, is a biomaterials engineer at Lawrence Livermore Nationwide Laboratory in Livermore, Calif., the place she focuses on bioprinting for tissue engineering programs. She graduated from M.I.T., and she received a Ph.D. in substance science and engineering from Stanford. She is the daughter of Susan H. Dubbin and David C. Dubbin of Boca Raton, Fla.
The groom, 35, is a staff members scientist in the division of biology at Stanford. He graduated from Washington State University and received a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Connecticut. He is the son of Gail Goodwin in San Anselmo, Calif., and Stephen Goodwin of San Francisco.
The couple fulfilled on Craigslist in January 2017.
